Family Children Maternity Senior Pet Lifestyle Candid Portrait Photographer in Loveland, Ft. Collins, and other Northern Colorado

Long time no blog!

I have been so busy with my 3 year old and life. Oh who am I kidding...I got lazy blogging.  Let's face it, I'm not good with words.  I'm a visual girl, hence, photography.

The past month, life happened and it was turned upside down.  Something drastic like that has to happen to reassess what's important to me.  I always knew my family comes first no questions asked.  Then I reexamined myself regarding photography.  I.LOVE.IT.  So why did I get lazy updating my blog, being more visible on social medias and on the internet? I think because I love it so much, I was afraid of taking risks and facing the reality...marketing myself and anything and everything that has to do with running a business.  I'm shy in a new environment and with people so talking about myself to strangers greatly heightens my anxiety.  My easy defense mechanism was "I don't NEED the business aspect of it."  But actually, I do.

So during this time, I had to reevaluate what's my top priority as a photographer. QUALITY. I'm talking besides the high quality equipment I use and need/want (it depends on who you ask).  My strength is using the beautiful CO backdrops and the lighting to compose in a way that shows the personalities of my subjects.  Photos are something that freezes in time but again, they're a still shot.  But my work shows that I still capture these fleeting moments as they are. No reel needed.  No sound needed.  One still image that will bring you back all the memories of your loved one and how they were at that moment in time.  And my hope is that these qualities are as important to you as they are to me.

And I wanted to leave you with Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!  For more information, please visit my website:
